Attempted attack on Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan during church visit
An attempted attack allegedly carried out during Nikol Pashinyan's church visit was averted without incident thanks to the swift intervention of security forces.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to a church today was reportedly overshadowed by an attempted attack. Immediately following the incident, it was announced that Pashinyan is in good health and did not sustain any injuries.
According to local reports, it was determined that an unidentified person or persons were preparing an attack while the Prime Minister was at the church. Thanks to the sudden intervention of security forces, the attempted attack was prevented before it could escalate.
In a statement from authorities, it was reported that an investigation into the incident has been launched. While no official information has yet been shared regarding the motives behind the attempted attack, it was stated that security measures in the area have been significantly increased following the event.
