Bahrain has recalled its ambassador to Israel and suspended economic relations due to the attack on Gaza.
Bahraini authorities announced on Thursday the decision to recall the Israeli ambassador and suspend economic relations with Tel Aviv following criticism of the country due to its military offensive against the Gaza Strip in the wake of the attacks carried out by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on October 7.
AMBASSADOR HAS LEFT THE COUNTRY
The Bahraini parliament, in a statement published on its website, said that ''the Israeli ambassador to Bahrain has left the country.'' It emphasized that these decisions are a confirmation of Bahrain's historically strong position in supporting the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people.
