US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a phone call.
Following the announcement that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed in an Israeli strike, US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a phone call.
In a statement released by the White House, it was noted that Biden congratulated Netanyahu, and it was stated, “President Biden and Prime Minister Netanyahu also discussed how to use this moment to bring the hostages home and to bring the war to an end with Israel’s security assured and Hamas never again able to control Gaza.”
The statement added that Biden and Netanyahu agreed to remain in close contact in the coming days, both directly and through their national security teams.
