Biden's first statement after the debate

US President Joe Biden is continuing his election campaign following the debate he held yesterday with his Republican rival Donald Trump.

Speaking at a rally in the city of Raleigh, North Carolina, Biden referred to Trump and stated that the US is in danger.

Biden told his supporters, "The US will not bow to anyone. We will stand up to dictators. Above all else, we will protect, preserve, and defend our democracy. That is what is at stake in this election," he said.

Addressing yesterday's debate, Biden emphasized that Trump lied repeatedly on stage. In response to the crowd at the rally chanting "Lock him up" in reference to Trump, Biden replied, "We will have time for that."

"I DON'T WALK AS EASILY"

Addressing criticisms regarding his age, Biden said, "I know I'm not a young man. I don't walk as easily as I used to. I don't speak as easily as I used to, I don't debate as well as I used to.

But I know what I know. I know how to tell the truth, I know right from wrong, and I know how to do this job.

I know what millions of Americans know: When you get knocked down, you get back up. I wouldn't be running again if I didn't believe with all my heart and soul that I could do this job," he stated.
