Bill granting Trump 'Greenland negotiation authority' introduced in House of Representatives
Republicans in the U.S. Congress have introduced a bill in the House of Representatives that would "authorize President-elect Donald Trump to purchase Greenland from Denmark."
The bill, which has been reported in American media and introduced under the title "Make Greenland Great Again Act," was prepared by Republican Representative Andy Ogles.
The bill, which is supported by many Republicans in the House of Representatives, authorizes Trump to "conduct negotiations with Denmark to purchase Greenland" once he takes office.

U.S. President-elect Trump had previously stated in his remarks that he wanted to purchase Greenland for the national and economic interests of the United States.
