Last month, along with her world tour, Rodrigo launched the Fund 4 Good campaign, which aims to protect the reproductive rights of women and girls. A portion of the proceeds from Rodrigo's concert tours will be donated to the fund. As part of the initiative, Rodrigo began working with the National Network of Abortion Funds, which connects her with local chapters at various stops on the tour.

Abortion is illegal in Missouri, permitted only in emergencies that threaten the life of the pregnant person. Missouri Republicans are also attempting to cut funding for Planned Parenthood, an organization that provides reproductive health services in the state such as sexually transmitted infection (STI) screenings and birth control.

Missouri Republican Senator Bill Eigel posted on his X account, stating that Rodrigo 'should be ashamed.'

According to a report by The Guardian, there were also those on social media who reacted to the distribution of sexual health products and birth control pills at Rodrigo's concert. Social media users were divided on the issue.

Meanwhile, making a statement about abortion during the concert, Rodrigo said, "I'm devastated that so many women and girls are going to die because of this. I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who, at the end of the day, showed us that they truly don't care about freedom."
