Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will meet with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken today. President Erdoğan is expected to receive Blinken on Saturday.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is coming to Turkey today. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said in a statement to journalists on January 3, "Blinken will have a trip on Saturday. He will come to Turkey as my guest. That is what is currently planned, so unless there is a change, he is coming as our guest."
CNN Türk Washington Representative Yunus Paksoy also stated, "The first leg of the visit is Istanbul. Then he will move on to Crete from here. He is most likely expected to set off today. Full-day meetings will take place on Saturday."
