Dave Calhoun also conveyed that the company will cooperate with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) during the investigation process.
Officials conducting the investigation revealed that Alaska Airlines had placed restrictions on the aircraft due to pressure warnings a few days before the accident.
The NTSB reported that the emergency exit door of the Alaska Airlines "Boeing 737 MAX 9" passenger plane was found in the garden of a teacher from Portland.
