The Israeli Security Agency, Shin Bet, has detained an elderly woman on charges of attempting to carry out a bomb attack against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Israel's public broadcaster, KAN, announced this development on Wednesday.
The woman had been arrested two weeks ago and subsequently released on the condition that she be banned from entering government institutions and approaching the prime minister.
According to KAN's report, the woman is expected to be charged on Thursday with conspiracy to commit murder and planning a terrorist act.
