Bomb attack threat alarm in GCA: I hate you all

A bomb attack threat caused panic in Nicosia, the capital of the GCA. Police teams went on alert following a threat message sent to a shopping mall called "Nicosia Mall" and another building. 

According to reports in the Greek Cypriot press, the message sent to the police around noon claimed that there were explosive devices in the buildings. In the message, a person who identified himself as "David" said, "There is an explosive device in the building. I hate you all."

It was noted that the message also included threats to carry out an armed attack on a school, various violent content, and statements regarding the individual's psychological state.

Police teams were dispatched to the buildings in question. Security protocols were activated at both locations, and the buildings were evacuated as a precautionary measure. 

Search and inspection operations were initiated in the evacuated buildings.

Authorities stated that security protocols were being implemented in full as part of preventive measures.

The police announced that a large-scale investigation is ongoing to determine the source of the threat and to identify the person or persons who sent the message.
