Bomb terror attack follows hostage crisis in Pakistan: Bus carrying police targeted
The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has announced that it carried out a terror attack against Pakistani security personnel. Pakistani officials stated that 5 people lost their lives in the attack, and 12 others were taken to the hospital for treatment.
It has been announced that an explosion occurred near a bus carrying police in Pakistan's Balochistan province. According to official statements, 5 people lost their lives in the incident, while 12 others were injured. Local police officer Zafarullah Sumalani reported that the explosion took place in the Naushki region. In his statement, Sumalani noted that the blast occurred near the bus transporting security personnel.
Balochistan Government Spokesperson Shahid Rind condemned the attack and announced that efforts to ensure security in the region are ongoing. According to initial findings, it was stated that 5 people died and 12 injured individuals were taken to the hospital. In the preliminary investigation conducted by the police, it was noted that the explosion may have been a suicide attack.

HOSTAGE CRISIS IN PAKISTAN
In an armed attack on a train traveling from Quetta to Peshawar on March 11, 31 people lost their lives, while 354 people were rescued in an operation. The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack. The Pakistani military described the incident as a 'terror attack'.
More than 400 passengers were taken hostage in the attack carried out by the BLA on the passenger train named Jaffar Express on March 11. It was stated that there were approximately 150 security personnel on the train. The militants demanded a prisoner exchange from the Pakistani government to release the hostages.

The Pakistani military announced that it rescued the hostages in an operation launched early Wednesday. It was stated that 33 militants were killed during the operation, and 4 soldiers lost their lives. Security forces shared the information that 31 people lost their lives in the armed attack and 354 people were rescued through the operation.
