Borrell announced: EU to recognize that country!
Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, stated at the World Economic Forum that the recognition of Palestine by EU countries is expected in May.
Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, made statements regarding Palestine at the World Economic Forum held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
SAID IT IS EXPECTED
Speaking on the sidelines of the session, Borrell said that a number of EU countries are expected to recognize the state of Palestine by the end of May.
Last month, Spain, Ireland, Malta, and Slovenia announced that they would work together toward the recognition of the state of Palestine. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez also stated in his remarks that Spain would recognize Palestine as a state by July.
