Breaking News: First statement from Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei following claims of Nasrallah's death

Following the Israeli military's announcement of the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, the first statement has come from Iranian leader Khamenei.

Khamenei stated the following:

"The terrorist gang ruling the Zionist regime has not learned from their criminal war in Gaza over the past year. The Zionist criminals should know that they are too insignificant to cause any real damage to the strong structure of Hezbollah in Lebanon.

All resistance forces in the region stand with and support Hezbollah. The resistance forces, led by Hezbollah, will determine the fate of this region. By the grace of God, Lebanon will make the occupying, evil, and disgraced enemy regret their actions.

It is the primary duty of all Muslims to stand with the people of Lebanon and the honorable Hezbollah with all the means at their disposal and to assist them against the usurping, oppressive, and cruel regime."

Two regional officials briefed by Tehran told Reuters that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has been moved to a secure location within the country under high security measures.

DEATH CONFIRMED

Hezbollah has confirmed that Nasrallah was killed. The statement said, "Our leader has been killed, we will continue to fight against Israel."
