Britain prepares for its largest mass protest demonstration

Pro-Palestine marches that have been ongoing in London for weeks will continue tomorrow. London police have gone on high alert ahead of the march, which coincides with 'Armistice Day' commemorations, a significant event for the UK.

The pro-Palestine march, which overlaps with 'Armistice Day'—celebrated annually in the UK to mark the day the Germans laid down their arms in World War I—has prompted authorities to take special precautions. 

Organizers of the pro-Palestine march believe that "hundreds of thousands" of people will participate in what they say will be one of Britain's largest mass protest days.

The Metropolitan Police announced that the police oversight implemented over the weekend will be more comprehensive than previous operations. The police have been equipped with special powers for this day. Additionally, strict controls will be in place in many parts of the city. 

Protesters will march from Park Lane to the US Embassy. On the large stage to be set up along the march route, former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn, actors Juliet Stevenson and Maxine Peake, head of the Palestinian mission to the UK Husam Zomlot, and other figures will deliver speeches.

Ben Jamal, director of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), announced that they expect more than 500,000 people to attend this major event. 

It was stated that 1,850 officers will be on duty to ensure security during the march, with 780 of them brought in as reinforcements from outside the city.
