A report by KAN stated that the Prime Minister's Office had warned Israeli ministers not to make any statements regarding the explosions in Lebanon.

HEZBOLLAH ANNOUNCES INVESTIGATION INTO EXPLOSIONS

In a written statement issued by Hezbollah, it was stated that simultaneous explosions occurred for an as-yet-unknown reason in "pager" devices used by some individuals working in various units of the movement.

The statement, which noted that "specialized units affiliated with Hezbollah are conducting a comprehensive security and technical investigation into the causes of these explosions," included the following:

"We pray for God's mercy upon our martyrs and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded. We call on our people to be vigilant against baseless news and attempts to spread misinformation conducted in favor of the Zionist enemy Israel's psychological warfare. Such rumors are being brought to the agenda, especially simultaneously with Israel's threats to change the situation in the north. The Resistance is at the highest level of readiness to defend Lebanon and its steadfast people with all its units and levels.”

'EMERGENCY MEETING' CALL FROM ISRAEL

A report in the Haaretz newspaper stated that the Israeli government requested an "emergency meeting" following the explosions in Lebanon.

In this regard, it was stated that senior security officials were called to an "emergency meeting" with government officials.

It was noted that the meeting to be held in Tel Aviv would be to discuss the rising tension and Hezbollah's possible retaliation following Israel's infiltration and detonation of the pagers in Lebanon.

On the other hand, Israel's official broadcaster KAN reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant met with some senior security officials at the Israeli army headquarters in Tel Aviv.

US SECRETARY OF DEFENSE TO VISIT ISRAEL

The US news platform "Axios" reported that US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin is expected to visit Israel on September 22-23.

In the report, which was based on unnamed Israeli and US officials, it was stated that the agenda for Austin's visit to Israel is the tension with Hezbollah.
