Call for Trump to 'disclose current health status'
The campaign team for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris in the U.S. has called on Republican candidate Donald Trump to disclose his current health status.
The U.S. will head to the polls for the presidential election on November 5.
In the election, which the whole world will be following, Democratic candidate U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican candidate former U.S. President Donald Trump will compete.
With a short time left until the elections, Kamala Harris has released her medical report. The team running Harris's election campaign has called on Trump to 'disclose his health status'.
According to a report by CBS News, Harris's physician, Joshua Simmons, released the medical report, which includes details such as the vice president's health status and her family's medical history.
In a written statement, Simmons stated that Harris's health is "excellent" and that she "possesses the physical and mental resilience required for the presidency."
Simmons noted that Harris has been receiving allergen immunotherapy for 3 years due to some allergies, and that there is a history of colon cancer in Harris's family, which is why she regularly undergoes the necessary screenings.
Following the release of the report, Harris's election campaign team issued a "call for Republican candidate Trump to disclose his current health status."
Later, officials from Trump's election campaign stated that the former president is in "excellent and perfect health to be commander-in-chief," but did not provide details regarding his health status.
