Telegram founder Pavel Durov, who was detained at Le Bourget Airport, has been arrested.
It was noted that Durov, who holds French citizenship, was on France's wanted list; the warrant was reportedly issued by the country's department tasked with combating crimes against minors.

According to the French press, French authorities consider Durov to be involved in drug trafficking, fraud, and crimes against children for a number of reasons, including Telegram's failure to cooperate with national authorities.
French journalist Cyril Amursky stated in a post on the social media platform X that Pavel Durov, who holds French citizenship, faces up to 20 years in prison in France and will appear in court on Sunday evening.
