Cause of the violent explosion in Damascus revealed: Ministry of Defense area
It has been revealed that the cause of the violent explosion in the Syrian capital, Damascus, was an attack carried out with a kamikaze drone.
An attack was carried out with a kamikaze drone on the Radio and Television building and the Ministry of Defense area located in Umayyad Square in the center of the Syrian capital, Damascus.
According to local sources, the attack was carried out by groups opposed to the Assad regime.
Intense gunfire was heard in the area following the attack.
The Syrian army has not yet made a statement regarding the incident.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Clashes continue in northern Syria. The fighting that began on November 27 in the Aleppo countryside between Assad regime forces and opposition groups and HTS resulted in the change of control of Aleppo on November 30.
On December 5, Assad also lost control of the Hama city center. The groups have made progress in some parts of Homs, which is of strategic importance and opens the way to Damascus.
