Ceasefire claim from Israeli press: Trump conveyed message to Biden administration

According to a report by the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronot, citing U.S. officials, President-elect Donald Trump has conveyed a message to the Biden administration regarding reaching a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah. 

U.S. sources speaking to the newspaper stated that Amos Hochstein, a senior advisor to Biden, is confident that the two sides can reach an agreement to end the conflicts that have been ongoing for over a year.

IS A CEASEFIRE POSSIBILITY ON THE AGENDA?

Yedioth Ahronot also claimed, based on information from political sources in Israel, that the possibility of a ceasefire with Lebanon is on the agenda.

HERZOG IS COMING TO THE U.S.

On the other hand, according to a statement from the Israeli President's office, President Isaac Herzog will meet with U.S. President Joe Biden at the White House on Tuesday to discuss Israel's attacks on Gaza and Lebanon.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a recent statement, noted that he has held three important meetings with President-elect Trump in recent days.
