CENTCOM shares update on US naval resupply

As military tensions between Iran and the US rise, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has shared an update regarding food and fuel resupply for US Navy vessels.

In the statement, which included photographs of the resupply efforts, it was noted: "During replenishment at sea, food, fuel, and other essential supplies are transferred to US Navy ships. These replenishments allow US warships to continue their operations at sea without needing to make port calls."

The post did not provide details on whether a resupply had recently been conducted for any specific US fleet.

Meanwhile, as part of the US military buildup in the Middle East, it is known that the US Navy aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford and its accompanying strike group were deployed near the Strait of Hormuz. The current location of the aircraft carrier and its accompanying fleet is not yet precisely known.
