Children in Gaza send message to the world: 'We are dying of hunger'

The 'Four Friends' team, composed of volunteers who organize numerous events against Israel's genocide, held an event in Khan Yunis attended by many children in Gaza who are struggling with hunger and fighting to survive.

During the event, the children carried banners reading, 'Enough, we don't want death anymore', 'Open the border crossings', 'We are hungry', and 'Save us'.

Speaking to an AA reporter, 11-year-old Rama Abu al-Aynayn said, "We want the border crossings to be opened. We are dying of hunger and bombs. Let the border crossings be opened so that aid can enter."

Pointing out that the majority of those who have died are children, Rama added, "Enough is enough. We have been dying of hunger for two months; there is no security left, nor is there any education."

Resmi Abu al-Aynayn, a representative of the 'Four Friends' team, stated that this was the 25th event they had organized but the most difficult one, noting, "Our children can find neither food, nor medicine, nor a safe shelter."

Stating that Israel is blocking the entry of aid and that there are no products left in the markets, Resmi said, "Hunger is as deadly as bombs. This is the use of hunger as a weapon against our people."

Resmi continued, "We feel hunger, fear, disease, and betrayal. Since March 2, no food or medical aid has entered Gaza. Our children are dying before our eyes. Where is the conscience of humanity? Where is our Ummah?"

The 'Four Friends' team is a group formed by volunteers in Gaza that organizes various events against Israel's genocide.

Israel has been blocking the entry of food, aid, medical supplies, and commercial goods into the Gaza Strip since March 2. According to government and human rights reports, this stance by Israel has severely worsened the humanitarian situation.
