China sends message: 'We will strengthen our cooperation with Europe'
Ling Ji, China's Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy International Trade Negotiator, held a meeting yesterday with Martin Frelich, the Czech Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.
Ling Ji, China's Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy International Trade Negotiator, stated that economic and trade relations between China and the Czech Republic have been developing steadily in recent times.
Emphasizing that China is ready to import more Czech products, Ling noted that the two sides will strengthen investment and cooperation in areas such as the green and digital economy and artificial intelligence.
Stating that China will expand dialogue, contact, and cooperation with European countries, including the Czech Republic, Ling expressed that they will defend the rules-based multilateral trading system and oppose protectionism and unilateralism in trade.
