Claim that Saudi Arabia will attack Iran
A senior Israeli official has claimed that Saudi Arabia will retaliate against Iran for its attack on the US Embassy in Riyadh.
In a report by Israel's state broadcaster KAN, citing a senior Israeli official, it was alleged that the Riyadh administration is preparing to retaliate against attacks by Iran, which had targeted Saudi Arabia by sending hundreds of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Gulf countries following the start of US-Israeli strikes.
The report, which quoted a senior Israeli official as saying, "We have no doubt that after being attacked by Iran, Saudi Arabia will soon attack Iran," claimed that Israel is preparing for the possibility of Riyadh responding to the attack on the US embassy last night.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense had announced that there was an attack on the US Embassy in Riyadh with 2 UAVs and that a small fire had broken out in the building.
The ministry later announced that 8 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were destroyed near the cities of Riyadh and Al-Kharj.
