Claims that Prince Harry of the UK may change his surname

It has been claimed that Prince Harry, the son of King Charles III of the UK, who moved to the US in 2020 following issues with the Royal Family, is considering changing his surname. Reports in the British press suggest that Prince Harry began exploring this option after months of delays in his children obtaining UK passports.

The reports allege that Prince Harry believes the delay is due to his children using the Sussex surname and their royal titles, and that he is therefore considering changing his surname to "Spencer," the maiden name of his mother, Princess Diana.

The reports also state that Prince Harry has discussed the matter with his uncle, Charles Spencer, and that an unnamed source indicated that Charles Spencer advised Prince Harry against changing his surname.

Prince Harry resigned from his royal duties in 2020 and moved to the US state of California with his wife, Meghan, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
