Daylight saving time in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) ends tonight. Within the scope of the Daylight Saving Time Order published in the Official Gazette, clocks will be set back from 04.00 to 03.00 on Sunday, October 25.
As Turkey continues to observe permanent daylight saving time, no changes will be made to the clocks there. Therefore, starting from October 25, a 1-hour time difference will emerge between Turkey and the TRNC.
Under the new arrangement, Turkey's time will be 1 hour ahead of the TRNC's time. With the winter time application, it is aimed to make better use of daylight in the morning hours in the TRNC.
