Commander of Iraqi Shiite militia Kataib Hezbollah killed in Damascus: Israel carries out another assassination
A commander of the Iraqi Shiite militia group Kataib Hezbollah has lost his life as a result of an assassination in Damascus.
The Iraqi Shiite militia group Kataib Hezbollah has announced that their commander, identified as Abu Haidar al-Khafaji, was killed in an Israeli strike in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
According to a written statement issued by Kataib Hezbollah regarding the matter, it was reported that al-Khafaji was killed in Damascus.
The statement noted that Abu Haidar al-Khafaji was serving as a security advisor in Damascus.
A funeral ceremony for al-Khafaji is expected to be held in Baghdad.
