Communication with the Gaza Strip cut off
Phone and internet connections with the Gaza Strip, which is under Israeli attack, have been severed.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society has announced that it has lost contact with its teams in the Gaza Strip due to internet and communication outages.
According to a report by Anadolu Agency, a written statement from the Palestine Red Crescent Society stated that the Israeli army targeted the Palestine Red Crescent center in Khan Yunis with howitzers in the morning hours. The statement noted that the attack damaged the "VHF radio communication system," which was the only means of communication during the outage of communication services, adding, "Due to the interruption of communication and internet services, our contact with our teams in the Gaza Strip has been completely severed. This situation poses a major difficulty for ambulance and emergency teams in reaching the sick and wounded."
The Palestinian telecommunications company Jawwal stated in an announcement at 20:30 that communication and internet services in the Gaza Strip have been completely cut off. The company had previously announced that internet and communication in the Gaza Strip had been cut off for the 8th time since October 7.
