Concerning statement from Trump regarding the ceasefire in Gaza
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he is not sure if the ceasefire in Gaza will hold, saying, "This is not our war. This is their war."
U.S. President Donald Trump made brief remarks to the press regarding the current agenda during a signing ceremony in the Oval Office, where he signed several presidential executive orders.
When asked whether he was confident that the ceasefire in Gaza would be maintained, Trump replied, "I'm not sure. This is not our war. This is their war." I think the other side (Hamas) is very weakened."
"I looked at a picture of Gaza. Gaza is a very big area of destruction. Actually, it really needs to be rebuilt in a different way," said Trump, noting that he could help with the reconstruction of Gaza.
Trump continued his remarks by saying, "Gaza is an interesting place. It has a magnificent location by the sea and wonderful weather. Very beautiful things can be done there; really beautiful things can be done with Gaza."
