President Erdoğan stated that Turkey is increasing its efforts to end the Ukraine-Russia war with a lasting and just peace, noting that he has held talks with Russian President Putin and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. He emphasized that Turkey strongly supports the establishment of a comprehensive ceasefire, maintains its position that NATO should not be a party to this war, and stressed that the opportunity for peace must not be missed.
President Erdoğan was accompanied at the reception by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç.
