The Military Operations Command, established by organizations affiliated with the jihadist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) that took control of the Syrian capital Damascus, announced that the curfew has ended.
The statement included the following:
"To our valued people in the city of Damascus and its countryside, we inform you that the Military Operations Command has lifted the curfew in the city. We also call on our people to return to their work and institutions. Contribute to the building of a new Syria.”
