'KEEP WINDOWS CLOSED'
The Regional Civil Protection Department issued a warning for the area within a 5-kilometer (3-mile) radius of the explosion, advising residents to keep their windows closed and to stay away from the area.

2 DAYS OF MOURNING DECLARED
Regional President Eugenio Giani stated on Telegram, "All of Tuscany is in mourning due to the tragedy that occurred today in Calenzano."
The local municipality declared two days of mourning for Monday and Tuesday.
