The Gaza Strip is experiencing a major humanitarian tragedy under constant Israeli attacks and blockade. In the last 24 hours, 11 more Palestinians have lost their lives due to hunger and malnutrition. With these deaths, the number of people who have died due to starvation in Gaza has risen to 212. In a statement on his X account, Ministry of Health Director General Munir al-Bursh stated, "Lives are being lost silently every day, and the tragedy continues."
Al-Bursh noted that 98 of those who lost their lives due to starvation were children and emphasized that the situation is becoming increasingly dire.
The number of Palestinians displaced by Israeli attacks and evacuation orders has reached 2 million. Since Gaza's population is approximately 2.3 million, this figure affects almost the entire region. Displaced Palestinians are struggling to survive in crowded schools, makeshift tents, and environments where hygiene supplies are insufficient.
