Death toll from Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam rises to 233

It has been reported that the number of people who lost their lives due to Typhoon Yagi, which has affected the north of Vietnam, has risen to 233.

According to reports in local media, the Vietnam Disaster Prevention and Control Department made a statement regarding the effects of Typhoon Yagi.

The statement reported that the number of people who lost their lives due to disasters and accidents caused by the typhoon has risen to 233. The statement also noted that 103 people are still missing and shared information that 823 people have been injured.

The Vietnamese government had deployed thousands of military personnel to conduct relief and rescue operations in the regions affected by the typhoon, and more than 50 thousand people had been evacuated from coastal cities in the north of the country.

Due to the heavy rain, floods, and landslides caused by Yagi, which struck the northern regions of the Philippines on September 3, 20 people lost their lives and 26 people went missing.

Due to the typhoon, which affected China's Hainan province on September 7, 4 people died and 95 people were injured.
