Death toll in Gaza rises to 61,330

Death toll in Gaza rises to 61,330

Israel has been continuing its attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. In a statement issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, it was reported that 72 people lost their lives and 314 others were injured in attacks carried out in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours.

The statement noted that since March 18, 2025, the date Israel unilaterally terminated the ceasefire agreement, 9,824 Palestinians have been killed and 40,318 Palestinians have been injured. Disclosing the total toll since the start of Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Ministry reported that the total death toll has risen to 61,330 and the number of injured to 152,359.

The statement also indicated that 16 people lost their lives and 250 others were injured while attempting to access food and humanitarian aid within the last 24 hours. With these figures, the number of Palestinians who have lost their lives while trying to reach aid has risen to 1,772, and the number of those injured to 12,249.

4 PEOPLE DIED DUE TO STARVATION WITHIN 24 HOURS

The Ministry also announced that 4 people died in hospitals in Gaza within 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition. The total number of people who have lost their lives as a result of Israel's use of starvation as a weapon in the region has risen to 201, including 98 children.
