DEM Party statement on conflicts in Syria: Civilians under threat of massacre

The DEM Party issued a statement on its social media account regarding the ongoing events in Syria.

The statement included the following expressions:

"Due to the conflicts and state of war that have developed in Syria in recent days, those in the Tel Rifaat and Aleppo regions who do not pledge allegiance to the aggressive gangs, including Kurds, Arabs, and other peoples, are facing a new threat of massacre. Especially the tens of thousands of people who have taken refuge in Tel Rifaat and the local residents of the region are being targeted by aggressive gangs. We call on political circles, democratic forces, anti-war activists, human rights defenders, non-governmental organizations, the international community, and institutions to raise their voices and react on democratic grounds so as not to remain mere spectators and silent in the face of these developments."
