Demanded a 'reward' for the police officer who killed a Palestinian child!

Israel's far-right Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir has demanded that a "reward be given" to the police officer who killed a Palestinian child in occupied East Jerusalem.

According to a report by Israel's Army Radio, an investigation was launched following incidents at the Shuafat Refugee Camp in occupied East Jerusalem.

The report stated that National Security Minister Ben-Gvir arrived at the investigation center with two lawyers at the time the police officer who killed the Palestinian child at the Shuafat Refugee Camp was summoned to give a statement.

Speaking to members of the press at the investigation center, Ben-Gvir said, "They are trying to break the spirit of our warriors. They should not have summoned him here. He deserves a reward, not an investigation."

Ben-Gvir argued that the police officer who killed the Palestinian child did what was expected of him and stated that he would work to ensure the officer is awarded a certificate of appreciation.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Israeli police shot and killed a Palestinian child at the Shuafat Refugee Camp yesterday, alleging that the child was "preparing to throw fireworks at the police."

Ben-Gvir wrote the following on his social media account:

"I salute the police officer who killed the terrorist who attempted to throw fireworks at him and the units in the area. Terrorists must be confronted with such determination and precision."
