Details on the Putin-Erdoğan meeting from Russian Presidential Aide Ushakov

Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov confirmed that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

Stating that the leaders will address sensitive and critical issues during their meeting, Ushakov said, "We have been planning a visit to Turkey for a long time. I believe the leaders will also discuss this matter.

Furthermore, we know that there are many issues that can be exchanged between the leaders of such countries, which play a very significant role, especially in a regional sense, considering Turkey's position.

I would also like to note that we are in constant dialogue with the Turkish side. As you know, our President recently received Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
