A tragic incident occurred on a flight from Bangkok to Munich, resulting in the death of a passenger who began bleeding from his mouth and nose. The 63-year-old German citizen passed away while traveling on a flight operated by Germany's leading airline, Lufthansa, from Thailand to Munich.
Passengers on board were gripped by panic during the incident and rushed to assist the crew. The plane was forced to make a rapid return to Bangkok.
Eyewitnesses stated that the man appeared quite ill as soon as he boarded the plane with his wife. Furthermore, one of the passengers, Martin Missfelder, stated that the man's condition deteriorated rapidly shortly after takeoff and that "liters of blood" flowed from his mouth and nose.
A Lufthansa spokesperson stated in a press release that a doctor on board provided immediate and comprehensive first aid, but unfortunately, the passenger passed away during the flight. Following the incident, the plane returned to Bangkok only two hours into its scheduled 12-hour journey.
This sad event has once again highlighted the importance of flight safety and health precautions. It was emphasized that measures for passengers whose health condition deteriorates seriously during a flight need to be further strengthened.
