US President Donald Trump made striking statements. While stating, "We have restored public order in Los Angeles," Trump targeted officials in California.
In his address to the nation, US President Trump described the protesters in Los Angeles as "professional, not amateur."
Noting that they would find those financing the actions, Trump lashed out at local officials in California.
Claiming that US flags were burned in Los Angeles, Trump said, "Anyone who burns the American flag will go to jail for 1 year." Trump also used the phrase, "The US is under invasion."
