Donor list for Trump's White House ballroom released: Commitments reach $333 million

The donor list regarding the financing of the ballroom that US President Donald Trump is having built in the White House garden has been made public. According to documents obtained by the Washington Post, there are 67 individuals and institutions that have contributed over $10,000 to the project.

The report stated that with the addition of private donations, the total donation commitment for the ballroom has reached $333 million. On the list, Nvidia and Apple stood out as the companies with the highest donation commitments, each pledging $25 million.

It was reported that the Adelson family, known for their closeness to Trump, and Charles Ergen, co-founder and chairman of Dish Network, also made pledges of $25 million each. It was noted that Google, under the Alphabet umbrella, pledged $22 million, the Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Foundation pledged $20 million, and Comcast pledged $7.5 million.

The White House had previously announced the names of 37 individuals, companies, and foundations supporting the ballroom project; however, it had not included the donation amounts or details of individual contributions. The documents published by the Washington Post reveal that the list of supporters is broader and disclose the committed amounts.

Regarding the financing of the project, Trump had previously stated, "One hundred percent of the costs are being covered by me and some of my friends."
