Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla, led by CEO Elon Musk, is preparing to recall its vehicles. The automotive giant, which announced last week that it would recall more than 2 million vehicles, has decided to recall 120,423 vehicles in the US.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration stated that the doors of the vehicles in question carry the risk of opening during a crash, and therefore a software update will be performed. It was stated that the vehicles to be recalled cover Model S and Model X vehicles produced between 2021 and 2023.
The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced last week that 2 million 30 thousand vehicles would be recalled to fix a problem identified in Tesla's autopilot software.
