A drone attack targeting the US Consulate in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Iraq, was intercepted by air defense systems.

A drone attack was carried out against the US Consulate in Erbil, the capital of the KRG.
Unnamed security sources stated that the US Consulate was targeted by 3 drones and that all of the drones were destroyed by air defense systems before reaching their targets.
The sources noted that an investigation into the attack has been launched and reported that there was no loss of life or property.
