Elon Musk is looking for Turkish-speaking personnel

Billionaire businessman Elon Musk's space company SpaceX offers its Starlink satellite internet service in many parts of the world. When Starlink will arrive in Turkey has been a subject of curiosity for years. The expected dates for Starlink were postponed several times, but it is now considered certain that SpaceX will offer Starlink internet service in Turkey in 2024. 

In fact, on the service map on Starlink's official website, satellite internet for Turkey is defined as 'Coming soon'. The other two definitions appear as 'Available' and 'Waitlist'. 

On the other hand, President Erdoğan recently hosted SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk at the Turkish House in New York, USA. During the meeting with Musk, the Starlink service was also discussed. According to information reported by Bloomberg News, Erdoğan requested the launch of the Starlink service in addition to the establishment of a Tesla factory in Turkey. 

SPACEX IS LOOKING FOR TURKISH-SPEAKING PERSONNEL FOR STARLINK TURKEY

The SpaceX company has taken action for the expected satellite internet service. The firm has published job postings for positions referred to as 'customer support' and 'customer representative'.

In order to provide the satellite internet infrastructure in Turkey, the firm has begun searching for personnel who speak both Turkish and English. Here are the qualifications SpaceX is looking for for the Starlink Turkey customer representative position... 

QUALIFICATIONS SOUGHT FOR STARLINK TURKEY CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE

According to the news from ShiftDelete.net, according to the published job posting, to be a 'customer representative' at SpaceX;

-A high school diploma or equivalent certificate,

-More than 1 year of experience in a customer support position,

-Must have a good command of English and Turkish is required. 

Other desired features and requirements are as follows:

-Must be available to work on holidays,

-Must live in the Hawthorne, CA (California / USA) area (there is no remote work opportunity),

-Must be available to work 10-12 hours a day in one or more of the following shifts:

Shift 1: Alternative Weekday Schedule (06:00 – 18:00)

Monday – Thursday

Monday – Wednesday

Shift 2: Alternative Weekend Schedule (06:00 – 18:00)

Thursday – Sunday

Friday – Sunday

Shift 3: Alternative Weekday Schedule (18:00 – 06:00)

WAGES HAVE ALSO BEEN ANNOUNCED

The daily wage was also announced in the job posting. The hourly wages that SpaceX will pay employees for Starlink are as follows:

-Customer Support Agent/Level 1: 24.00 USD/hour - This amounts to 240 USD per day for 10 hours of work.

-Customer Support Representative/Level 2: 26.50 USD/hour - This amounts to 265 USD per day for 10 hours of work.
