According to a report by the official Lebanese news agency NNA, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun held a phone call with Musk.
During the call, Musk noted that his companies want to have a stronger presence in the Lebanese market and make investments.
President Aoun expressed that he welcomed this request and that they are ready to provide all kinds of facilities within the legal framework.
A delegation from the SpaceX-affiliated company Starlink visited Lebanon at the end of last May, held meetings with the Lebanese Ministry of Telecommunications, and discussed the possibilities of providing high-speed satellite internet services in Lebanon.
