The US House of Representatives has passed a bill by a vote of 427 to 1 that forces the Department of Justice to release files related to the case of US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The bill, titled the "Epstein Files Transparency Act," received 427 "yes" votes in the US House of Representatives, with only one member voting "no."

It is noteworthy that this move in the Republican-majority Congress came after US President Donald Trump "changed his mind regarding the public disclosure of the files."
The next stop for the bill to become law will be the US Senate. If it is also passed in the Senate, it will be sent to the White House, and if signed by US President Donald Trump, it will become law.
The bill in question mandates the public release of all Jeffrey Epstein files held by the US Department of Justice.
