Epstein’s unused plane in the spotlight with chilling traces
Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet, once dubbed the “Lolita Express,” has been left to rot, neglected and abandoned in Georgia for many years. The details emerging from the plane, which has suffered significant damage both inside and out, are raising concerns.
The Boeing 727 private jet belonging to American billionaire and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been left to its fate for years at an aircraft maintenance facility in Brunswick, Georgia, in the United States. According to authorities, Epstein used this plane to transport young victims to different countries.
Photographs suggesting that numerous well-known figures were among the plane's passengers had previously caused a major stir in the media.
Designed as a luxury jet, the plane once featured a bedroom, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and three separate seating areas. Today, however, the plane is seen as a reflection of Epstein’s dark history and a window into the past.
It is known that Epstein quietly disposed of the plane just before an investigation was launched against him.
ITEMS ON THE PLANE ARE SHOCKING
According to a report by the US media outlet New York Post, the interior of the jet is infested with insects and mold. Journalist Georgia Worrell, who inspected the plane, reported that she was met with a "musty smell that made it hard to breathe" when she stepped inside.
During the inspection of the plane, paper towels embroidered with Epstein’s initials and the plane’s tail number were found. In the main bathroom, baby powder and various personal care products were reported to be present. Additionally, dirty towels, moldy shaving cream cans, old toothbrushes, and various hair ties were found on the plane.
Signs of deterioration and decay were also visible in the bedroom of the jet, which has remained unmaintained for over a decade. The duvet on the bed had begun to rot, and signs of an insect infestation were detected in the room. While a pair of glasses sat on a nightstand, a dismantled and hidden satellite phone was reportedly found in a drawer.
It was reported that one of the plane's seating areas was covered in red velvet, while another section featured mirrored walls. A large wooden table stands out in the kitchen of such a large private jet.
It was noted that the Boeing 727 model aircraft is approximately 60 years old and its engines were removed in 2016, rendering it inoperable. According to experts, it is certain that the jet will never fly again due to the lack of engines and years of neglect. The owner of the land stated that the plane was scheduled to be scrapped years ago, but it is unknown why it is still sitting there as it is.
ALLEGATIONS LINKED TO THE UK
Meanwhile, British authorities are investigating new allegations contained in recent documents regarding Epstein. The documents suggest that young girls were brought from Latvia, Lithuania, and Russia via private flights to London Stansted Airport.
Former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown stated that the obtained documents show that Epstein’s jet made nearly 90 flights to and from the UK. Brown said, “Stansted Airport was much cheaper compared to Paris, and this was the point where women were transferred between Epstein’s different planes.” It is also alleged that 15 of the flights took place after Epstein was convicted of child abuse. Essex Police confirmed in their statements that new information regarding Stansted Airport is being reviewed.
Jeffrey Epstein remained in the headlines after losing his life in prison in 2019 under suspicious circumstances.
