It has been reported that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has earned the title of the “longest-serving prime minister” of the Italian Republic. AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated Meloni in a post on his social media account.
In his message, Erdoğan stated, “I sincerely congratulate Ms. Giorgia Meloni, who has earned the title of the ‘longest-serving prime minister’ of the Italian Republic.”

In his post, President Erdoğan also emphasized the relations between Turkey and Italy. Erdoğan stated that he believes the cooperation and solidarity between the two countries will grow even stronger in the coming period.
I sincerely believe that we will further strengthen the cooperation and solidarity between our countries with Ms. Giorgia Meloni every passing day.
