Erdoğan receives Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the Turkish House in New York, where he arrived for the 79th United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, the normalization process between Turkey and Armenia and the peace processes between Armenia and Azerbaijan were discussed.
President Erdoğan stated that Turkey supports the establishment of lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the building of a solid friendship between the two countries in the new era, and that efforts to facilitate this are continuing.
President Erdoğan noted that significant progress has been made toward unconditional normalization between Turkey and Armenia, and expressed his sincere support for the continuation of the dialogue process.
