EU issues 1-month warning for Israel and Lebanon

In a statement issued by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), it was stated: "The European Commission and EASA are closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East and its impact on civil aviation following the recent escalation in the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

In this context, the European Commission and EASA have decided to issue a Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB) recommending that operations not be conducted at all flight levels in the Lebanese and Israeli airspaces. The recommendation is valid until October 31, 2024, and may be subject to change based on further assessment."
