Europe's largest brothel Pascha seized: Human trafficking uncovered

The German state of North Rhine-Westphalia has seized Pascha, Europe's largest brothel. The reason for the seizure is the suspicion of human trafficking and the illegal smuggling of wealthy Chinese individuals into Germany. Pascha was purchased by a Chinese businesswoman in 2021 and transferred to a Dubai-based consulting firm in March 2024.

Europe's largest brothel Pascha seized: Human trafficking uncovered

Europe’s largest brothel, Pascha, has been seized following a government request, a prosecutor's order, and a court decision.

As a result, the government of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany's most populous state, has become the owner of the brothel, where more than 150 women work in sex work and 90 staff members are employed.

According to a report by Ali Gülen from Sözcü newspaper, while title deed transactions have been frozen, the seizure was carried out on August 8 on behalf of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia by the Düsseldorf Public Prosecutor's Office. The reason for the seizure of the brothel is the smuggling of wealthy Chinese or Asian individuals into Europe for fees ranging from 250,000 to 400,000 Euros per person after it was purchased for 11 million Euros by a wealthy Chinese woman.

CHINESE INDIVIDUALS BROUGHT TO GERMANY ILLEGALLY

It is stated that the seizure is currently a temporary measure, but it could later turn into a permanent confiscation.

It has emerged that behind the acquisition were members of a smuggling ring that has been bringing wealthy Chinese individuals to Germany illegally and through bribery for years. In April, approximately 1,000 police officers raided the homes and villas of lawyers, tax experts, entrepreneurs, and some politicians across Germany.

CONTINUES TO OPERATE ACTIVELY

It was learned that the gang leaders were lawyer Johannes D. and his accomplice Claus B., who also had connections to politicians.

Pascha, which was purchased by the wealthy Chinese woman's firm in 2021, was transferred to a Dubai-based consulting firm in March 2024, about a month before the police raid.

The person currently operating Pascha as a tenant continues to transfer funds to the Dubai-based company's sister firm in Germany. Furthermore, it is noted that Pascha is still actively operating.
